Downtown Art Walk is a festive time when participating businesses keep their doors open from 6 to 10 pm to showcase an array of artwork by local and renowned visiting artists. A special Children's Art Walk is held each May from 6 to 9 pm, featuring artwork from elementary school students. Art lovers are invited to stroll through the streets of downtown, enjoying art, food, and community on the First Friday of every month.

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership presents the 5th annual Bite of Bellingham, sponsored by Portionables, Bellingham's local fod, wine and beer festival. The Allied Arts 2010 Juried Artist series continues with "Femme Fatale" featuring Katy Frank, Carmen Moise, Linda Hughes and Kay Little. The public is invited to the opening night celebration at the Allied Arts Galler and the Downtown Art Walk from 6-10pm. There will be an Exhbit Walk-Thru with the artist from 6-7pm on opening night.

The Blue Horse Gallery is proud to present the "Public Hanging" winner Michael Deeb in his solo show, "Tranquility". Influneced by many contemporary masters, Deeb will be exhibiting his luminist and realistic works from August 6th-27th. Please join the artist for an opening reception from 6-10 PM for Art Walk.

Bellingham artist, Tyree Callahan, will show his work at Honey Salon from August 6th through the 27th. Originally from Artizon, Callahan was inspired by the interplay of diffused northern light and water-rich atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest. This has become the defining aspect of his work. Please join us this evening and throughout the month to enjoy the work of Chad DeRosa. Chad is a fabulous local photographer with many areas of expertise. His focus for this show will be various landscapes including many local spots.
Ron Pattern, a Signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, joins painter/ muralist Lanny Little in a show titled "Essentially Northwest". Both artists share a love of light and color and if you like realism with a Northwest flair you won't want to miss this exhibit. The show will be open for La Bella Strada on July 31st and Aug 1st and also for Art Walk August 6th.
Paintings by Danielle Harrington. Special summer desserts created including parfaits, trifles, mousse and Belgian chocolate sundaes made with Mallard Super Vanilla ice cream. Beer, wine, sodas and various other drinks will be available.
