Debra Goldman's Weaving the Invisible is a body of work consisting of five 20”x 24” photographic prints that have been manipulated with silk, inks and silver pigment or leaf. Music by DJ Tru-ah. Snacks provided. Veritas Massage will be offering free massage. Doors open at 7pm, due to class time ending at that time.

The Bureau

Sarah Goodin will serenade the last Art Walk at The Bureau. While the shop is closing, the historic walking tours live on and in celebration of the Holiday's Buy a Gift Certificate for 2 to any downtown tour for 2017 and receive $5 off.

Featuring artist Kellie Becker - “In my paintings, I don’t set out to produce art about one subject or another. With no formal training, my influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel, and experience. Different mediums allow me to express different ideas. My work is included in private collections throughout the United States.” Music by Orb Trio - Urban Funkenjazz for the Modern World. Adrian Clarke on guitar, Roger Yamashita on bass, and Joel Litwin on drums. Tasty tidbits and sips throughout the store including Gingerbread Cloud Cake from the Co-op bakery.

 

Dakota Gallery

6 x 6 Dakota Gallery's annual fundraiser exhibition showcases works made by the community of Bellingham, all completed on a 6 x 6 inch surface. All artwork is priced at $25. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Allied Arts Education Project.

Honey Salon

This December Honey Salon presents The Flood, a collaborative art showcase featuring new work from Bellingham artists Jess Flegel and Michelle Schutte on reflections and predictions of disaster and home. Each artist takes a turn at interpreting and reflecting similar Bellingham landmarks, as well as some personal locations dear to each artist, on canvas and quilt. With each piece, Flegel and Schutte seek to find semblance and order in a world seemingly immersed in water and flooded emotion. Flood themed cocktails, artist meet and greet, and corresponding flood-themed ambiance will accompany the showcase opening December 2nd from 6-10PM.

Make.Shift Art Space

For the Past 5 years Make.Shift Art Space (306 Flora Bellingham, WA) has hosted the only DIY craft Bazaar in the subdued city. Need a Bellingham Flag for the perfect stocking stuffer? How about some independently published comic books? Or perhaps you need a beautiful photo or painting by one of the dozens of artists who work in Make.Shift? Local vendors new and old will come set up show in the gallery and venue space, and many of our tenants will open their studios to share their wares. The Racket Bar and Pinball Lounge

The Racket presents recent works by Jess Bonin and Kelly Sorbel. Bonin's explorations of memory, ephemera, and symbolism are juxtaposed with Sorbel's experiment in repetition - creating permutations of the same painting for 30 consecutive days.

Sculpture Northwest Gallery

Sculpture Northwest Gallery is delighted to welcome The Sculptors' Society of British Columbia to Bellingham, October 7th to December 17th, 2016. In the exhibition titled Clay, Wood, Stone and Beyond, eleven artists with differing art practices, united through sculpture, will present their work. Feast your eyes on a wide range of contemporary sculpture from the bizarre to the exquisite, from the classical to interactive automata, in bronze, stone, ceramic, welded steel and other mixed media.
