Downtown Safety Meeting

After a year of searching, the City and the Lighthouse Mission are proposing a new easy access shelter to serve up to 200 people on a City owned property located between C & F Streets on Roeder Avenue. Join us as we host Tara Sundin, City Community & Economic Development Manager, and Hans Erchinger-Davis, Lighthouse Mission Director, who will provide an overview of the project and answer your questions.

These meetings occur on the second Tuesday of every month and will be expanding in scope to include more engagement from the group. Enjoy coffee and pastries provided by Caffe Adagio, learn more about what is being done to address health and safety issues downtown and what you can do to stay proactive.

Hundreds of families come downtown for our Trick-or-Treat, a fun and safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. Downtown Neighborhood Association Meeting

Meeting schedule: 5:00 PM - doors open, socializing, 5:30 - 6:30 PM - DNA meeting, 6:30 - 7:00 PM - wrap up/socializing. 

Come to our first quarterly Downtown Neighborhood Association meeting of the year in downtown’s Arts District. We’ll hear about the proposed low-barrier shelter from City and Lighthouse Mission representatives, welcome new Arts District businesses and offer a farewell to outgoing downtown ambassador/landscaper, Peter Gunn. 

First up is an update from the City regarding the proposed low-barrier shelter, which would serve up to 200 people in a City owned property located between C & F Streets on Roeder Avenue.
