Downtown Art Walks, formerly Gallery
Walks, are a festive time when participating business owners keep their
doors open from 6 to 10 pm to showcase an array of artwork by local and
renowned visiting artists. A special Children's Gallery Walk is held
each May from 6 to 9 pm, featuring artwork from elementary school
students. Art lovers are invited to stroll through the streets of
downtown, enjoying art, food, and community on the First Friday of every month (except for October 2008 which will occur on October 10):
