As a nonprofit, the Downtown Bellingham Partnership leads various programs to help the downtown community based on the four pillars of our organization. We work to inspire other businesses and individuals to grow and improve our downtown, believing our community is stronger when we all push forward together.
Morning JAM is a free monthly creative lecture series where we bring host top creatives in their field for a talk on their craft, what inspires them, and how others can be creative in their own fields. On the third Wednesday of every month, this program is designed to inspire creativity throughout our community. See all of the upcoming Morning JAM speakers.
SAFETY & SECURITY MEETINGS
With the City of Bellingham and the Bellingham Police Department, these semi-regular meetings bring together downtown business owners and residents to discuss safety issues facing our district and offering tools to improve safety. Each meeting consists of different guest speakers such as from the Homeless Outreach Team and Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center. Visit our blog for notes from previous meetings.
DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
The DBP also acts as downtown's official neighborhood association. These quarterly meetings act as a way for the neighborhood to get to know one another, become informed, and give feedback to the DBP, City of Bellingham, and other invested organizations in order to improve our district.
