The landscapes of the West are in constant flux, with interpretations changing from different historical, cultural, and personal perspectives. Join artist Trish Harding for this welcoming class as you learn how to paint a landscape that incorporates past and present, using your choice of oils or acrylics. Inspired by the current exhibition, Many Wests: Artists Shape An American Idea, you'll learn how to create a landscape that synthesizes history and nature. Using archival photos, you’ll blend the current nature of Bellingham Bay with its past uses, as Trish encourages you to express your own personal west in this one-day workshop. Some experience with your media is suggested. Registration is limited to 10 participants.
