The Pickford Film Center just announced another showing of Director Leslie Shampaine's documentary, "Call Me Dancer" for Monday, Oct. 28 at 3:25 p.m. The film was an audience favorite at CASCADIA's 2023 festival and has been a crowd-pleaser at the Pickford's Doctober festival. The film follows the inspiring and heart-warming story of Manish Chauhan as he tries to fulfill his dream to become a ballet dancer against his parents' desires. With the encouragement and support of his teacher Yehuda, a curmudgeonly 70-year-old ballet teacher, he works to develop his talent against all odds.
